damaged places #7
Borgatti Theatre, Cento
damaged places #3
Mirandola, Duomo
I thought of you when the first earthquake struck and it's so sad to hear that there has been further damage. I'm hoping that people are not hurt. I look forward daily to your blog and have frequently found it inspirational. Thankyou.

Unfortunately the damage is worse, because a lot of people were on the roofs or scaffolds of the endangered buildings, defenseless at the moment of the collapse. Every five minutes they discover a new body buried under the rubble, and altough this was another earthquake, not just an aftershock, it happened on the same spot, therefore in some places 75% of houses is down, and all the churches and castles are ruined. After the first earthquake evacuees were 7.000, I cannot imagine how many they will be now. I have friends over there (it’s 100 km from my home) and I’m worried (plus I’m working on the 6th floor… bit not good).
Thanks for your words! A big hug
It happened again. This morning. We are losing our history.
