Big Earhquake tonight… magnitude 6, it could have been a disaster (we still remember so well L’Aquila in 2009: it was 6.2, with 308 casualties, 1600 injuried and so many damages they’re still living in cabins), this is a zone full of antique buildings. Luckily it was deep, and the ground has a different consistency (more elastic, I think). But many houses and churches collapsed, and some people died.
I was sleeping, and suddendly there was a lot of shaking and noise all around my room. Haven’t slept at all, basically, because then I stayed downstairs with my cat, my mother and a cup of tea, watching documentaries on tv and looking for updates on the pc.
So may cups of tea. I’m still impressed by the haunting sound of the wind. Why is there always this scary wind with earthquakes?
