Your wonderful balcony shot is one of my favorite places -- it's the terrace lounge of the Peninsula Hotel in New York City. My boyfriend took me there for a drink (ouch, $22 each) last year.

Really? Watching the pic, it should be worth the money (was the drink good anyway? :D)! Thanks for telling me, that was really beautiful: I’ve always wanted to come in NYC at Christmas time (I know, I know, that’s a cliché, I should be able to avoid it since I’m italian and everyone comes here thinking about postcards and clichés, but I can’t help it) but somehow I’m thinking about another season now..
