No, it's not the same level to equate the Sherlock detective literature to a song with the same name. But ANYBODY has the right to use that word "Sherlock". It's not exclusive to the character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I follow ur blog, having seen the stuff you post and the thoughts you share, I thought you'd be more open-minded about that. Plus is it part of good breeding to wish someone to die?

I thought it was quite obvious that it was a joke. British humour! Not everybody gets that indeed, so it was clearly explained “just on tumblr”. Well, I apologize if someone has been offended; be happy, life is full of Sherlocks! And some of them are better than the others :p
*** I want to add something. In another tumblr about figure skating I used, as a tag, “shapes”, which is a term often used in figure skating so I had all the right to use it. Then someone told me that, yes, there are shapes in figure skating but it is a word widely used with another meaning, so I was, you know, messing up the research in tumblr. I had every right to use it, but that person was right, so I stopped. I know everyone can use the word Sherlock, I can call my cat Sherlock and post his pics and tag every pic “Sherlock” and I have every right to do it. Common sense should suggest me, though, that maybe I’d be better not to use it, since 90% of people digiting “Sherlock” is actually looking for something else.
