ALL APOLOGIES
Nirvana

What else should I be? All apologies
What else could I say? Everyone is gay
What else could I write? I don’t have the right
What else should I be? All apologies

Since today is the anniversary of Nevermind, this should be Nirvana day. Nirvana is the last great band who actually changed music (I must say, most of bands nowadays are too busy covering others than actually creating something) and who actually portrayed a generation. No other band, since then, has had the same impact on music, mind-changing, even fashion or geography (Seattle was an unfamiliar spot on the map before grunge period).

All Apologies has been around since 1990, but it was released only in 1993 (In Utero is their third album), when it reached #1, and it is in the 500 best songs Rollin Stone’s list; there is, anyway, another version of this song from the famous Unplugged in New York 1994 concert, which features Lori Goldston on cello, and this is the one I’m posting here.
