Ok this is one of the funniest moment I’ve ever watched.. Sort of “Hallo—Oh gods!!” If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can see scared Stephane it in this KOI backstage at 2:44 (but the whole scene starts at 1:18, and continues with Stephane telling his mini-me in a musicbox to spin faster and other hilarious moments..).
Anyway, all the videos about KOI backstage are really funny, they deserve a look! ;)

GSA yesterday. Stéphane skated on Rachmaninov Prelude (over here) and Don’t stop the music, here. He was flawless, and those two programs are really developing, and growing on me every time i watch them. The first subtle and mesmerizing, the second sassy and athletic, I love the way he can skate whatever he wants, because with each style, with each music he is just perfect.

And those were probably the best performances of the two programs.

This one was so elegant, flawless and detailed, and yet so funny and filled with irony (the moment when he screams, or the pretended fall) I’m always wondering HOW is it possible that he can be such a petit prince and that ridiculous at the same time but hey, it’s Lambiel! He can skate a new program with a new knee injury, and look like that! - Actually, he can skate a very difficult program with a new knee injury and a cold and the flu, and win silver at the Olympics, so…

I brought with me some friends, they didn’t even follow figure skating for the most part, but at the end my brother looked at me and said: Well, then tonight we’ve seen a bunch of great skaters, and A dancer on the blades, haven’t we?

He was perfect. I love the way you don’t hear any noise from his blades on the ice, you really don’t get that on tv. Thank-you, Stéphane.
